A:Hub

The Aviation Hub is Information Design's mission critical integration product. It's specifically designed for the aviation industry and serves as a solution for data integration, system integration and system migration. It provides implementations for all kinds of aviation specific message types and object models as well as a vast number of communication protocols from legacy systems to SOA.

Airline Hub (DAS)

A:Hub as an EAI and middleware based solution for inter-company data exchange and data integration. It merges flight data and related objects from different applications into a consistent view.

Other applications subscribe to the resulting message streams and to the services. DAS serves more than 60 applications of more than 15 enterprises.

CDM Hub (STANLY/CDM)

The A:Hub for Airport CDM (Collaborative Decision Making). Airport CDM is about airlines, airports and ANSPs (air navigation service providers) working together more efficiently and transparently in the way they work and share data.

The STANLY_CDM Hub is located at the Deutsche Flugsicherung (Air Navigation Service Provider, Germany) and connects Eurocontrol (CFMU) in Brussels with the major German airports using WANs (DFS-PSN, SITA, AFTN). p But STANLY_CDM does not just relay data. It links further systems with additional information in order to deliver the “best from all worlds” combined in a standardized view.

Fuel Hub (FDDC)

The A:Hub for fueling services. The FDDC – Fuel Data Distribution Center – application serves as a data hub automating the communication between cockpit and fueling services to the greatest extent.

The fueling services get information about the departure flights to be refueled and a receipt after delivery, the airline obtains a delivery ticket after fuel delivery. In addition to that, parallel to fueling, the system transmits crucial process timestamps to the airline in near real time. Through FDDC our customer Deutsche Lufthansa keep its fueling process lean and is able to optimize its downstream fuel business processes.

With LCMP, Deutsche Lufthansa replaces its core Crew Management System by a modern solution. The A:Hub is used as a mission critical Middleware and Data Integration component for LCMP. It is responsible of connecting partner applications to the new system and of integrating flight data into a consistent view.

Under the hood of Deutsche Lufthansa's OPS Control Center tool, STORM, the A:Hub takes care of the mission control system and data integration. It also provides central business services such as maintaining aircraft counters and generating ASM messages for aircraft assignments.

Information Design has developed several modules for a Safety Management System at Lufthansa Group: FANDANGO. It combines flight and ground reporting, safety enrichment, management of change and auditing to an integrated platform that specializes in aviation processes.

It supports the day-to-day work of auditors starting with the management of the audit plan up to the implementation of corrective actions.
